Valentine's Day Tea Party

I hosted a tea party for some of our friends a couple days before Valentine's Day. I think it turned our really cute! Avery and I love anything pink and girly, so I'm hoping to make it an annual thing. Avery was really excited about it.

I borrowed Avery's pillows from her room. I love our new bench! It was from the Marine gift shop and came from the Philippines. It holds all the kids games and puzzles.

I wish I could say I was just as excited about Easter. Easter is actually today, and it's super low key in our house. I hate to say that I haven't even decorated eggs with the kids yet or done any crafts. I did make bunny pancakes and the Easter bunny did leave some stuff in their baskets! Happy Easter everyone!

Noah's Birthday and Randoms

I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, so I'll just stop apologizing for neglecting this blog. I'm having problems getting pictures off my phone or camera lately.=) I still take a ton of pictures, though! 

Noah's birthday was low key. We took him to the zoo, and I was going to make a cake, but got lazy at the last minute and bought a small one at the commissary. I just got a plain one and stuck one of his Thomas trains on top! It was a nice day. I think Avery was just as excited as he was.

This happens more than I can count. Teenagers (usually) always want their picture taken with my kids. This time I took a picture with my phone too.

Trying to get out on their bikes more. This park is perfect for that. Actually, there are a ton of parks perfect for that! I've never seen so many great parks in one place before.

Since Steve is gone the kids sleep in our bed every night. I usually bring them upstairs when I go upstairs (from their beds). Sometimes they just go upstairs together and fall asleep. I like them on the same floor as me.

One evening I found Avery passed out within a few minutes and Noah jumping all around her. When Noah takes a nap during the day he does not want to go to bed at night!

Noah is obsessed with The Polar Express lately. I can't store that train because he constantly wants to play with it. And he wants to watch the movie every day.
