Civic Park

Civic Park - Awesome!! I feel like I've been so busy lately with decorating/organizing the house that we just needed to have some fun today. And we did. Warning: lots of pictures ahead!

Loved this roller slide...I think Noah liked it best of all...we brought cardboard, so we would go really fast.

Avery with "Sleepy Yawn," the name she gave her bunny blanket that Great Grandma gave her when she was a baby.

So this slide was just ridiculous. Steve was the only one that went down, and it took him awhile. You had to hang and then just let go. It was a literally a complete drop off. I saw other kids going down it, and it seemed like lots of fun. Too scary for me!

Lots of obstacle thingys that lead up for another big slide.

Teeter-totter. Us on one end and Steve on the other.

These logs were moving! Avery went up it about 5 times...only once holding Steve's hand.

Noah loves the slides. Not the climbing up part.

 Where do these stairs go?
 More stairs??

 More???
Oh, we're at the top of a castle!!

 Castle.
Another part of the castle.....Very cool (big) park. Entertainment that's better than a theme park (and less crowded and free).

Cafe Pipineo

We finally went next door to eat. We've gotten their coffee, tea, and cinnamon rolls, but this was the first time we went for a meal.

We didn't want squid or pork, so we opted for option C which is always a (cooked) fish of the day. They always have that option.=)  The meal comes with salad, mashed potatoes, rice or bread, dessert, and coffe or tea.

Delicious and right next door!! This may become a weekly thing. Plus, the owners are so nice. They're the ones who brought us over an entire tray of cinnamon rolls when we moved in.
