Araha Beach

Happy Holidays everyone! Before I dive into our big Christmas trip to Tokyo, I wanted to share an awesome park/beach we went to before we left. We'd heard of this park before, but I'm not sure why it took us over a year of living here to check it out. Like many of the beaches on Okinawa, it's beautiful, but even better because there's a pirate ship play structure for the kids with a great zip line. This one is fast! Avery couldn't get enough of it. We also found a burrito truck (yes, on Okinawa!) a little ways down, so we got in a nice walk as well.

Noah is still a little scared of heights (though we may have cured him of this in Tokyo!), so he didn't want to climb up the ship or go on the zip line. He preferred to use this ramp as a slide.

Noah and I went down to the water for the sunset. Avery stayed on the zip line!

The circle that's lit up is the ferris wheel in American Village.
