Catch Up

Here's another catch up post. A lot has happened. One being Avery's school closing their preschool. This has been very upsetting as we all LOVE her school. Her teacher's husband got transferred to Korea. The owner's have decided to just expand their elementary and close the preschool. Her "graduation" was today which I'll post pictures of later. Also, the heat and humidity has reached the island and i LOVE it. I was so over the 50 degree weather. We didn't pack any warm clothes. Here's a bunch of others over the past few weeks (it wasn't quite warm yet in these pictures):

Avery helped me decorate some for St. Patrick's Day by painting a rainbow:

I've become a little (ok, a LOT) obsessed with organizing this house, and the kids closet was one of the many projects. This is how it functioned with no dresser. Steve didn't like the ugly dressers so he kept 0 of the government furniture ones. I honestly didn't care at the time, but with the big closets we haven't needed dressers (there is a built in one in Noah's new room - our old room) Since this picture We've actually moved our room upstairs, so Noah and Avery can each have their own room (and closet). But this did function well for two kids for the time being).
The "clothes fairy" puts out clothes for the week in the different slots every Saturday night. This has eliminated all problems with Avery picking out what to where each day. She's excited to see what the fairy picked out. She does choose what she wears on Saturdays since there's no slot for that day.

Noah got his birthday gifts from my parents. The trucks are amazing. They love them. PERFECT GIFT!!

Noah loves throwing rocks in the river across from our house and watching the diggers and dump trucks nearby.
And watching them from our front yard.

Avery and I made homemade sidewalk paint (pinterest activity, once again). She loved mixing the food colorings to see what color it would create. Such a good learning activity.

 It worked great!

This is Tegan Castle, the restaurant we got to almost every Thursday night for their family night. When it's warm you'll see a ton of kids running around out in their "backyard" area. Such a pretty view.

Xystus Playland for Avery's friend from school's birthday. This is where she wants to have her "Dora" birthday party.

Pretty much all the kids at Avery's school was there.=)

Steve's been paddle boarding a lot (the kids road on it for the first time last weekend - I'll post pictures of that soon!)

Getting nice and muddy at a park nearby.=)

 haha!!! So muddy!
