A couple weeks ago we went down to the Sea Wall by Kadena. We've been there once before, but it was pretty windy that day, so we didn't stay long. Steve wanted to go to a particular surfing store nearby (he's been stand up paddle boarding quite a lot lately! He can go literary right outside of our house, which is nice...no loading up the paddle board on top of the car). After we found the store we took a little walk.
We found a yummy curry buffet. Loved the view from our table.
Then we noticed the tide was super low, so we did some coral reef walking for the first time. There's reefs all over the island so it's a popular thing to do. We're going to try a place close to our house next.
The kids loved the reef and seeing all the sea life temporarily "trapped" in the reef. Unless it's really hot (which won't be a problem here in a bit), the kids don't like to get in the beach with the waves up close. So this was perfect for them because the waves were far away. Nice and calm.
Pretty blue fish:
No idea what this thing is!
Noah fell in so we took off his shirt. haha
