I was excited to find out that the popular Aeon store (formally known as Jusco) is right by us here in Uruma City (the part of the island we live on). Aeon has just about everything. The first section we went to was a grocery/convenient store. Our favorite part of this was the wonderful bakery with the abundance of samples. We got a loaf of bread which was gone by that night. They had wonderful pastries as well but we chose a piece of pizza and a couple sandwich type things for lunch. Then we got coffee at the little donut shop in the Aeon. After the grocery store the Aeon goes out into a mall. The kids section had an enormous video game section. We ended up getting Avery a lunch box and water bottle for school and Noah some rain boots. We're seeing TONS more rain here then California, so they're a must.
Nitori is often called the IKEA of Japan. We did a lot of looking but didn't purchase anything big yet. We want to get one of their futons for our "study" and a rug to go under our couch. We ended up getting a trash can, towels, two little outdoor seats for outside our bedroom (We've decided to take the upstairs room as ours and use the "bamboo room" as the study), and a couple other things we needed.

Eating some yummy bakery food from Aeon
Kids eating breakfast yesterday morning. Our new couch is now in the open area in the back.
