Avery's First Day of School

I feel so lucky to have found such a great school so quickly. The big thing I wanted for Avery was a small class size, a "home" type feel, and a nurturing teacher. This school is definitely all that and more! Leonardo Di Vinci Academy is owned by a Spanish couple that they run from their home. Avery's class has 7 children total between the ages of 3-5. There are about 25 kids total in the whole school. It's less than 10 minutes from our house. Avery's teacher is a military spouse as well and is wonderful! Avery never liked the huge DOD schools with the large class sizes, so this is perfect for her. She goes from 9-12:30 Monday-Friday and she loves it so far. It's definitely been different with just Noah in the morning. It makes it easier to run errands with just one child, and I like having the alone time with Noah in the mornings and Avery in the afternoons while Noah naps. It's nice having a schedule.
