Halloween

I was happy there was trick or treating on base in Okinawa. We didn't have a car yet, so our good friends, the Beatons, came over and we trick or treated in the houses around the West Pac. We had to wake up both kids because they fell asleep at 4:00PM, thinking it was time for bed. It was hard waking them up as they both thought it was the middle of the night, but I'm glad we did. I think the next morning was the first time they slept in past 4:00AM since we got here. They're adjusting to the time change!
 We forgot Avery's Sleeping Beauty costume in Ohio, so I just happened to pack her ballet outfit. She was happy to be a ballerina even though she's been adamant  about being Sleeping Beauty for months. Noah was a spider. It took him awhile to get out of the stroller. I think he was a little scared of some of the costumes.=) There weren't too many houses to go to, so there was a little line to get to each one, but it was still a fun evening.=) We are so blessed to have such close friends already here.
