It's been so pleasant here so we felt like going for another walk. We decided to go the opposite way of the treehouse. We took a left at the end of our street where we found ourselves walking through a street surrounded by farmland. We were on that for about a mile when we come out to a small little beach. Yah! Another beach we can walk to. The water here is SOOO much warmer than in California. You can also see what you're stepping on. After the beach we took a right up into the little town. We loved looking at all the neat houses and shops. It was pretty quiet out that Saturday morning. We took the river walk back to our house and discovered another cute little cafe right by us. It didn't open until 11, but we will definitely check it out sometime.
That afternoon we found a produce market in town. Yah!! MUCH better than the commissary produce. There are definitely some items that I've never seen before and will need to find out what they are and how to cook them!
Avery's first day of preschool is tomorrow. I really never thought I would be nervous/sad/anxious about this day, but I definitely am. Too much too soon, I guess.=( I hope she loves her new school!
